2024 Club Championship

KEL club championship 2024 rules

Both male and female championships

Club championship is FREE to enter and is open to all club members 

Championship will consist of 12 rounds of which 8 best scores to count for final placings.

Race placings will be determined by using the "good for age" system currently used by "parkrun",this grading system is the fairest way to give everyone an equal chance to score race position points.

 Race points for each race will be.  1st 20 pts,2nd 18 pts,3rd 16 pts,4th 14pts,5th 12pts,6th 10pts, 7th 9pts,8th 8pts,9th 7pts,10th 6pts.

Every additional participant will receive 5pts.

In the event of 2 or more runners finishing on equal percentage grading in a race the points will be awarded equally.

BONUS POINTS

*3 bonus points for completing all 3 parkruns 

*2 bonus points for a race distance PB

Parkruns will come under a 5k race.

Course pbs will not count for any race including parkruns.

Race results, positions and grading scores will be posted as soon a official race results are published!

An updated league table will be posted after each race.
